If you need help right now: call 999 in an emergency, NHS 111 for urgent medical help, or Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7). More options are on our support page.
1. This is not medical advice
ChhanaBox publishes general wellbeing information, personal reflection and practical ideas. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.
Always seek the advice of your GP, psychiatrist, psychologist, therapist or other qualified professional with any questions you have about a medical or mental health condition. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read on this website or in our emails.
2. No professional relationship is created
Reading this website, downloading our guide, subscribing to our emails, listening to the podcast or interacting with us on social media does not create a therapeutic, medical, counselling or other professional relationship between you and ChhanaBox.
The author of this site is not a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist or registered therapist, and does not hold themselves out as one. Content here is written from personal experience and from published research, clearly referenced where it is used.
3. This is not a crisis service
We do not provide emergency support, and messages sent to us may not be seen for several days. If you are in distress or crisis, or worried about your safety or someone else's, please contact one of the services listed on our support page, or call 999.
4. Accuracy, research and honesty
We take accuracy seriously. Where we refer to scientific research, we cite the original studies so you can read them yourself, and we aim to represent findings fairly — including their limitations.
Psychological research evolves, and individual studies are not proof. Where an idea is popular but not well evidenced, we say so rather than presenting it as established science. If you believe we have got something wrong, please tell us at hello@chhanabox.com and we will correct it.
Content is provided "as is". We make no warranty that information is complete, current or suitable for your particular circumstances.
5. External links
We link to third-party websites, research papers, charities and NHS resources in good faith. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices. Inclusion of a link does not constitute endorsement.
6. Individual results vary
People are different. Techniques that help one person considerably may do little for another. Nothing on this site should be taken as a promise, guarantee or assurance of any particular outcome.
7. Advertising and sponsorship
ChhanaBox does not currently carry advertising, affiliate links or paid sponsorship. If that ever changes, any commercial relationship will be disclosed clearly and prominently on the relevant content, in line with Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChhanaBox accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the content of this website. See our terms and conditions for full details.
